Class 1. Horse and rider as a pair never to have been placed in any Dressage competition at Novice level and above.
Class 2. Horse and rider as a pair never to have won any Dressage competition at Novice level or above.
Class 3. Horse and rider as a pair never to have won any Dressage competition at Elementary or above
Class 4. Open to all
Class 5. Open to all

Points will be awarded as follows :
1st = 6 pts, 2nd = 5 pts, 3rd = 4 pts, 4th = 3 pts, 5th = 2 pts, 6th = 1 pt

At the end of the series the rider/ horse combination with the most points in each class series will receive a Championship Trophy.
The overall points leader from all five classes will receive the overall Shannon Leigh Stables Supreme Championship Challenge Trophy

Entry fees : £12 per class or £40 for class series
Rosettes to all entrants in Walk and Trot classes.
Trophy for winner of each individual class and rosettes to 6th place

DRESSAGE RESULTS 26th NOVEMBER 2006

Our first competition of our Dressage series was a great success thankfully :-)
Everyone made a fantastic effort to turn themselves and their horses out beautifully...which was very much appreciated :-)

Philip and I were running flat out to get everything ready for the day...we were out on the yard until 2am the night before still laying the TurfFloat on the Lunge/Warm up arena.
We had the arena harrow/leveller delivered in parts on the saturday....literally in parts as the delivery driver got lost and left one (of three) parcels at a nearby stables and the other two still on the lorry with his mobile switched off!!!!....eventually after they all arrived Philip had to fix it all together just in time for the Dressage.

So after all the rush and stress we were only running about 15 minutes late on the day.
Mandy with Ben did fantastic to win the Walk and Trot Test, which was their first competition since Mandy bought him this summer :-)
Katie was on terrific form to win both the Prelim 1 and the Prelim 12 on Mic.

Congratulations to all for being such good sports and being patient with us on our first attempt of running the Dressage series :-)
